Thanks to God, we are beginning to return to our regular church order. By decision of the governor, normal activities may resume in church as long as social distancing is observed. After you have placed your candle and venerated the icons, find a place in the church at least six feet from anyone else. If the church is filled, please find a place in the trapeza or in the hallways to stand for the services. For now we will discontinue communing people after the service. We have now resumed having coffee hour after the Liturgy on Saturday and Sunday. Please bring a dish to share with others, and, of course, continue to observe care in social interaction.

Confessions in the church will be heard as normal. If it has been more than a week since you last confessed, it is necessary to confess again before you receive Holy Communion. It is still possible to confess by phone by calling one of the priests. This possibility will continue until we get some kind of word from the authorities that all normal activities may resume.

On this Fifth Week after Pascha we commemorate St. John the Theologian with services beginning at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 20th, continuing with vigil at 3:00 PM, and Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 21st, preceded by Midnight Office and Hours at 9:00 AM. We commemorate the Holy Apostle Simon the Zealot with services beginning at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 22nd, and Divine Liturgy at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 23rd, preceded by Midnight Office and Hours at 9:00 AM.

We have extended our collection of items for the Foster Care Support Foundation Sunday, June 14th, the Sunday of All Saints. A shopping list of items needed is available in the vestibule of the church.
