On Monday, July 17, 2017 we welcomed students from The University of North Georgia in the Dahlonega. They attended liturgy and stayed for a tour of the church.
We had a great week at the St. Mary of Egypt Summer Camp! Thank you to all the wonderful kids, parents, volunteers who made it happen. Glory to God for everything!
On Sunday June 11th, Andrew Murray and Madeline Lutz were crowned.
On Friday, May 26th, Andrew Murray was baptised. His sponsor is Father Alexander.
On Sunday, April 23, 2017 Christopher Vaughn and Natasha Dolbnev were crowned.
Saturday afternoon, April 8th, the Children of the church gathered to prepare Palms and Willows for our Palm Sunday services.
On Sunday April 2, 2017, we celebrated our Patronal Feast day with Divine Liturgy and a Moleben with Metropolitan Hilarion. During the Divine Liturgy, Father Deacon Daniel was ordained to the Priesthood, and Subdeacon Michael was ordained to the deaconate. On Saturday March 25th, Daniel Thompson was baptized. His sponsors are Vladimir (Hank) Googer and Rachel Rountree.
The installation of the new Iconostasis is in progress and already looking beautiful. Glory to God!
Today we moved the old Iconostasis so the work on the new one can begin tomorrow. Glory to God!
